Responsibilities
Manage home health activities, workflow and nursing resources.
- Accountable for all home health functions, including staffing patterns, computer/data management activity, clinical medical record preparation and processing, insurance verification and documentation, inventory control, corporate responsibility/improvements activities and resolution of internal and external complaints and concerns.
- Responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling the day-to-day leadership of operations and the strategic development of home health.
- Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.
- Monitor and adhere to budget. Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Required Credential(s):
- Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Preferred Credential(s):
- BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Drivers License.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative
leadership experience required
