 10am-6pm, Monday-Friday
 Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience in an ambulatory health clinic.
  • Medication and vaccine administration (children's vaccines).
  • Clinical skills: phlebotomy, POCT, etc. on pediatric patients.
  • Specimen collection.
  • Screen (walk-in/telephone and scheduled appointments) patients and make appropriate referrals for services required.
  • Administer treatments (i.e. dressing changes, nebulizer treatments, and other procedures).
  • Competency with EMR documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Patient care responsibilities are delivered with a knowledge of patient growth and development and are appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
  • Documentation of all patient care, treatments and patient education
  • Timely completion of patient requests, follow up, form completion and pre-visit planning.
  • Pediatric experience especially with vaccines
  • Using the Nursing Process, care for pediatric patients in collaboration with providers, clinical and clerical staff.
  • Assess and triage walk in patients.
  • Perform intake on scheduled patients.
  • Perform POCT.
  • Medication administration.
  • Vaccine administration.
  • Patient teaching.
  • Documentation of all physical assessment.
  • Assist with patient requests, form completion and pre-visit planning.

Required Education:
  • Current New York RN license.
  • Current AHA BCLS certification.
  • Current AHA PALS certification.
  • Job Setting / Physical Demands:
  • Contact with staff, and pediatric patients/families.
  • Frequent prolonged standing/walking.
  • Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
  • Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients.
  • Lifts supplies/equipment.
  • Protective clothing: gloves, gown, protective glasses, mask.
