Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.

Registered Nurses are responsible for the following:
- Performs patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
- Practices safe medication administration and assesses patient responses to medication.
- Participates in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.
- Bargaining Unit: PASNAP
- This is a tier 3 position which requires the following commitment during a 6 week schedule:
- Minimum Commitment - 60 Hours
- Weekend Requirement - 36 Hours(inc in Min)
- Holiday Requirement - 1 Winter & 1 Summer
The Registered Nurse will provide professional nursing care to a group of patients within a specified time period and complete all required documentation. Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; BSN required within 3 years of employment.
- Current Pennsylvania RN license, active and in good standing is required
- At least one year of ICU RN experience required.
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Certificate or proof of attendance for a Critical Care Course (may require proof of curriculum if not AACN) or CCRN.
- Successful completion of a skills based test required
