This is a benefited, full time position working 10-hour day shifts on weekdays with an alternating day off. Located in Oceanside at the Jefferson Medical Center off the 78 & Jefferson.

In this role as a Specialized RN you will be expected to:

• Perform patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate.
• Educate patients and document patient interactions.
• Practice infection control.
• Contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.

This is a new hire bonus eligible position of up to $7K.

The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:

• Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title

Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

• Completion of accredited RN program.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in Oncology
• Current CA RN license.
• Current American Heart Associate BLS certificate.
• Chemotherapy immunotherapy certification (ONS) within 3 months of start date.
• Excellent IV skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience administering chemotherapy in an acute care hospital environment.
• Outpatient experience
