Civita Care Center at Milford is now hiring a Staff Development Coordinator / RN or LPN to provide education, training, consultative and support services to the management team, staff and patients.
Duties and Responsibilities for Nursing Staff Development Coordinator:
• Determines the learning needs of staff in using a variety of methods in order to maintain or improve their competency
• Conducts formal and informal competency assessments with staff and nursing leadership.
• Utilizes data collected by PI, Nursing Leadership, Nursing Standards, staff, and nursing leadership to develop educational offerings
• Collaborates with members of the nursing leadership team to determine unit-specific educational needs
• In conjunction with the Nursing Leadership Team, assists in the growth and development of staff
• Assesses the learning needs of the orientees and plans a comprehensive orientation
Qualifications for Nursing Staff Development Coordinator:
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
