The role you'll contribute:

Collaborates with medical and clinical leaders to coordinate clinical excellence in stroke-care across the facility.

• Works with team to identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care
• Performs quality assurance studies and assists with the implementation of quality assurance and/or improvement initiatives
• Monitors departmental compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements
• May assist with the marketing and advertising of programs and services
• Functions as a key decision maker for the interdisciplinary teams responsible for monitoring and improving program performance • Facilitates the development and implementation of stroke-related educational initiatives for staff, patients, community, and emergency medical services • Guides interdisciplinary team members in performance improvement and the incorporation of evidence-based practice protocols into the daily operations of the stroke program • Assists in ensuring a high level of data accuracy and quality for stroke program reporting • Works with community and professional organizations to further education and awareness about stroke prevention and treatment • Provides outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

• Five years of Clinical experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Neuroscience Nursing (CNRN), Critical Care Nursing (CCRN), or NIHSS certification
• Current valid State license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
