Job Description

Ensures provision of quality nurse care in accordance with federal, state, and company requirements based on acuity of residents.

Makes daily rounds to see all residents to ascertain condition and comfort.

Follows safety policies in performing nursing care.

Monitors, supervises, and evaluates nursing personnel compliance to nursing policies and procedures.

Initiates emergency measures according to facility's policy and within standards of nursing practice.

Communicates with physician as indicated by resident needs or status and assuring follow through.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license

Leadership ability to guide and direct others in the provision of nursing care.

Knowledge of the problem solving method; ability to utilize the nursing process.

Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.

Current CPR certification.
