AdventHealth Parker, located at E-470 and Parker Road, offers highly trained medical experts, leading edge technology and a broad array of clinical services. AdventHeath Parker performs complex spine surgery as well as weight-loss, orthopedic and joint replacement surgery. We are a Level II Trauma Center, offer oncology services and are an accredited chest pain center, and primary stroke center.

Schedule: Full-time; 40-hour and 36-hour schedules available

Shift : Days, Nights

Location: 9395 CROWN CREST BLVD, Parker, CO 80138

The role you 'll contribute : The Registered Nurse Surgery is responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within the operating room and for the day-to-day management and supervision of the related clinical activities.

  • Demonstrates effective assessment skills to ensure quality patient care is provided.
  • Performs and documents accurate initial assessment per unit standard.
  • Consistently develops an appropriate plan of care for patient from admission to discharge.
  • Establishes appropriate implementation of nursing actions to ensure competent nursing care is delivered.
  • Effectively evaluates the nursing plan of care to ensure safe, competent delivery of care is provided.


Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
  • Degree: Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree Specialty: Nursing Or nursing diploma
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Registered Nurse: State of employment OR RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
  • One year experience preferred Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to the operating room
