Schedule: Mon-Fri 10am-6pm (subject to change)

Shift: Full Time Days

Location: Retail Telehealth Clinic in Corbin, KY ( Whitley/Laurel Counties)

The role you'll contribute: Telehealth Coordinator will play a key organizational role in the coordination and communication and growth of telehealth care for patients in the ER, physician office, outpatient clinic, or other ambulatory settings. Organizational skills, flexibility, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to navigate through multiple technology platforms are also the key components of the position. This person works with qualified healthcare providers to ensure the best outcome for the patient, and other healthcare team members to coordinate, communicate and educate all of those involved in the care of the patient.

Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to the strategic plan and customer-service standards; identifying, resolving problems and determining system improvements.
• Is responsible for the successful implementation and ongoing management of Telehealth care in conjunction with standards, protocols, guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Available as a resource to all providers, staff and ancillary departments to provide education and training on the use of telehealth services.
• Assists in the orientation and development of programs leading to key partnerships.
• Prepares analysis and Programs review report for analysis and evaluation of Programs' status.

• Develops and implements action plan for changes/improvements as appropriate as requested.
• Assures accuracy of patient data by reviewing audits and other reports of patient data.
• Keeps staff informed by interpreting and communicating telehealth rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Assists remote providers with setting up a remote telehealth services.
• Coordinates with client vendors to install and configure telehealth connections at remote sites.
• Schedules initial and follow up training sessions with internal stakeholders and partners as needed.
• Trains providers and staff on the software and systems like Secure Messaging, Video Email, Video Chat, e-Prescriptions, and other features including file transfer and storage of information into electronic medical records.
• Trains providers and staff on HIPAA compliance and Protected Health Information.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

  • Associate degree in Nursing
  • 2+ years in healthcare setting
  • Maintain CPR
