Job Summary

The new Minnesota Veterans Home (MVH)-Bemidji is growing and seeking to fill a Registered Nurse Supervisor position!

Theposition p rovidesclinical supervisory oversight of technical nursing staff in the delivery of quality care to the residents of the home. D irectsand implementsthe Minimum Data Set (MDS) process and care planning process, per federal guidelines, to meet the residents'physical and psychosocial needs. The position p erformsOfficer of the Day (OD) duties as assigned, which may include a rotation of on-call support to the home amongst nursing leaders.

Theresponsibilities of the position includes:

• SupervisingLicensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants/Human Services Technicians to ensure employees effectively perform assigned job duties.
• Guiding and coordinating withstaff on completing the Minimum Data Set/Resident Assessment Instrument per regulatory guidelines.
• Providing clinical guidance, oversight and support for the daily operations of the nursing unit.
• Providing guidance to the nursing department team regarding state and federal regulatory requirements
