This position provides clinical supervisory oversight of technical nursing staff in the delivery of quality care to the residents of the home. The position directs and implements the Minimum Data Set (MOS) process and care planning process, per federal guidelines, to meet the residents' physical and psychosocial needs. The positions performs Officer of the Day (OD) duties as assigned, which may include a rotation of on-call support to the home amongst nursing leaders.

The responsibilities of the position include:

• Supervising Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants/Human Services Technicians to ensure employees effectively perform assigned job duties.
• Guiding and coordinating with staff on completing the Minimum Data Set/Resident Assessment Instrument per regulatory guidelines.
• Providing clinical guidance, oversight and support for the daily operations of the nursing unit.
• Providing guidance to the nursing department team regarding state and federal regulatory requirements.
