Duties and Responsibilities for RN/LPN:

• Maintains all records, policies, and standards necessary for surveys.
• Performs duties relating to residents, including but not limited to the following:
• Maintains complete and confidential clinical records on residents, including medications records
• Performs pre-admission assessment on prospective residents and reports findings to Administrator
• Monitors vital signs and screens general health and well-being of residents on a regular basis; discusses health needs with physicians and other health care professionals, as necessary
• Administers medications to residents and/or supervises the assistance of taking medications by residents
• Visits residents who have temporarily transferred to the hospitals, nursing homes, hospices, and other health care facilities in order to monitor their progress.

Qualifications Needed for RN/LPN:

• Works under immediate supervision of the Administrator and/or RN Consultant.
• Is in possession of a current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Provides evidence of the completion of both any state-mandated training or completes requirements as soon as possible after appointment.
