RN-Registered Nurse, Nursing Leadership Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License
• Previous long-term care experience, in leadership capacity role preferred
• Wound Care/Infection Prevention experience preferred, not required
• Directly supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws , and other elements of patient care.
• Conduct nursing rounds on each unit multiple times throughout the shift.
• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members.
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Overseeing the implementation of nursing department budgets in coordination with the facility administration.
• Implementing compliance and quality improvement policies, programs, and procedures.
• Recruiting, training, and onboarding new nursing staff.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
