A client of Insight Global is seeking a Transportation/Roadway Engineer to join their team in Kansas City, MO. As a transportation/roadway engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing various projects related to transportation and roadway design, construction, and maintenance. You will work closely with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure that our projects meet their needs and comply with all regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage transportation and roadway projects from conception to completion
Conduct site visits and gather data for project analysis
Design and prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation and roadway projects
Coordinate with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met
Conduct technical reviews and provide recommendations for project improvements
Use software and other tools to create designs and models for transportation and roadway projects
Oversee the construction and maintenance of transportation and roadway projects
Ensure all projects comply with safety standards and regulations

Required Skills & Experience

BS degree in Civil Engineering
PE license
OR has EIT and is ready to take the PE exam
10+ years of experience in transportation and roadway engineering/design
Experience with the following software: AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Project management/leadership experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

MicroStation/Bentley Open Roads experience
