Robot Programmer II

As a Robot Programmer, you will:

• Configure robot models, software packages, & firmware updates
• Setup communication for 3rd party (peripheral) equipment (Dispense, Welding, Vision)
• Setup safety configurations (Fanuc DCS, ABB Safe Move)
• Provide technical support and robotic programming for specialty machines, and equipment upgrades
• Complete offline simulations, utilize simulations data to establish cell cycle-times and optimize applications
• Support team members during startup, debug and runoff in-house; followed by the relocation, setup, and runoff at customer facility
• Train and mentor entry level programmers

Successful candidates will have:

• Experience with starting up a new robot, full robot I/O configuration, simulation software, loading programs, diagnosing errors/faults, as well as path programming
• 3+ years of field experience in robotics
• Robot programming of: Fanuc, ABB, Motoman, and/or Epson or willingness to learn
• Experience programming robots for MIG welding, resistance (spot) welding, and material handling
• Knowledge of PLC programming and machine controls systems is preferred
• Must have the ability to travel for installations
