Shift : Days ( 7:00am-7:00pm) OR Nights (7:00pm-7:00am)

Location: 11801 South Fwy., Burleson, TX 76028

The role you'll contribute:

Performs clerical duties, entrance screening duties, and patient sitter duties as assigned.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Performs general clerical duties and specific non-professional services under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse/RN, to expedite the efficient functioning of the nursing unit consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Nursing Department and hospital administration.

• Operates the call light system and recognizes emergency alarms, responding appropriately.

• Assists in overall care of the patient by performing clerical and non-professional functions.

• Answers telephone in a courteous manner, using name, title and location, within four rings, relaying information to appropriate nurse on a consistent basis.

• Ensures receiving person is on the line prior to transferring a phone call to them.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Accurate typing skills

• Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft word and excel documents

• Must be able to communicate effectively.

• Exceptional customer service

• Self-confidence to restrict access to unapproved and/or non-compliant individuals

• Personal responsibility to escalate and communicate issues and concerns to facility Leadership

• Accurate use of temporal thermometer

• Completed mandatory constant observer education in electronic training ALN within 90 days of hire
