Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious, talented, and passionate individual to work in our temporary retail & Demonstration environment. You'll have the opportunity to be responsible for maintaining the Pickleball brand image through sales, service, social interaction, Store Stocking and cleanliness and Stocking. The Tournament Staff will support event set up as needed and Event take down. You'll work directly with the Tournament teams and Managers to carry out proper standards, meet & exceed goals. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, self-directed and enthusiastic.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for set up and take down of all events assigned to you.
  • Inventory & Supplies: Responsible for assisting the team with inventory, receiving and set up for all event needs.
  • POS: Assist in cashiering as needed at the event each day maintain proper accountability for Square POS system and equipment.
  • Works with customers as a subject matter expert to complete a sale.
  • Follows company standards and best practices.

Requirements
  • Retail experience a plus.
  • Pickleball experience preferred.
  • Full understanding of brand integrity.
  • Lift and/or move up to approximately 30+ pounds Bending/stooping/kneeling required - frequently
  • Ability to work varied hours and days including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Problem Solving: Enjoys problem solving and is naturally curious.
  • Customer Focus: Assist customers with product selection.
  • Willingness to perform other duties as required that are necessary to support the business.


This is a contract role for UPA World Championships from 10/24/2024 through 11/15/2024
