Sales Coordinator Intern

The Washington Commanders are seeking a Sales Coordinator Intern to assist with administrative and logistical support for the Ticketing department. This position will offer the opportunity to learn about the team's daily operations and gain hands-on experience in planning and executing departmental events. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, possess a strong work ethic and demonstrate a passion for the sports industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with providing administrative support to executive staff within the Ticketing department
• Fulfill Account Representative requests for out-of-office meetings and events
• Assist with organizing and executing departmental events
• Facilitate Washington Legends appearances at various Sales and Season Ticket Member events
• Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors
• Support Ticketing gameday operations, including Tunnel Club and any additional pre, post and in-game activities
• Assist with coordinating fulfillment of in-game amenities for clients
• Maintain the Ticketing events calendar
• Oversee merchandise inventory for the Ticketing department

Qualifications:

• Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally interact with all levels of staff, clientele and vendors
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to proactively contribute to team efforts while also demonstrating strong independent work skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays when required
