About the Team:

We are excited by a passionate, accomplished Sales Enablement Manager to join our team. As a trusted field enablement expert, you will help partner with the Sales Organization, analyzing the business, and tweaking enablement plans to raise productivity for the segments you work with. You like to solve challenges with a project management and strategy-based approach. You provide insights by merging multiple data sets and performing analyses. You apply rigorous quality control and processes to your daily activities to ensure 100% accuracy. You enjoy working with multiple teams to connect business strategy to build enablement programs.

As a Sales Enablement Manager, you will lead change through data-driven insights that connect sales performance, sales activities, and sales enablement programs. You will partner with senior stakeholders to design, execute, and improve on-field enablement programs.

You have a track record in translating needs into scalable and impactful insights to build and course-correct efforts. Everything you do focuses on driving scalability and repeatability and empowering the Sales Organization with the right skills, and confidence to meet their goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Define success metrics according to challenges per program
  • Assess and interpret program impact on sales revenue and important performance metrics to make informed decisions
  • Deliver programs, plans, and training programs for members of the sales organization, iterating on the process, solutions, and company initiatives as identified by sales leadership
  • Proactively support sales enablement strategy execution by delivering meaningful, accurate business information to guide decisions and issue resolution
  • Use data to assess new strategies and reach conclusions based on findings to change results
  • Communicate with stakeholders, taking information back to Enablement leadership to manage communications deployment and execution
  • Secure executive sponsorship on enablement programs
  • Establish a network of sales and ambassadors such that every enablement initiative has participation from the business in its planning, approval, and release
  • Communicate compelling updates and messages to the sales community
  • Collaborate with product, industry, and subject matter experts to create and deploy projects needed to train the sales organization
  • Promote continuous process improvement projects
  • Operate autonomously within procedures, methods, and techniques
  • Deliver multi-tiered sales programs that incorporate a blend of methods to maximize retention and adoption (i.e., peer-to-peer community learning, hands-on workshops, deal coaching, on-demand tools, simulations, and playbooks)

Use internal technology to gamify, measure the completion and effectiveness of all sales training programs

Qualifications:
  • 3-6 years of experience in sales enablement and/or sales operations with experience using data for key insights
  • Interpret, and provide insights on data to lead course correction and higher productivity (expert Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) skills are a must, Tableau, and other data visualization tools)
  • Working knowledge of company products, services, policies & systems and utilizing skillset to meet business needs
  • A flair for storytelling
  • Passionate about deeply understanding your customers; exceptional at listening, asking open-ended questions, conducting interviews, and synthesizing feedback
  • Team-orientated
  • Genuinely likes helping others and has a service-oriented mindset
  • Knowledge of Medidata product portfolio with experience with product messaging and positioning in addition to overall industry knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that span across various cultures and professional backgrounds.
  • Network effortlessly, and influence several roles, levels, and profiles to lead collaboration and program excellence
  • Has an entrepreneurial spirit and likes the challenge of building new and innovative things

The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York/ New Jersey. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than NY/NJ may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $79,500-$106,000.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
