Amazon is seeking a strategic and transformative leader to drive the company's global enablement initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the execution, alignment, adoption, and effectiveness consistent, yet regionally adapted enablement strategy of AWS enablement programs that support Amazon's business objectives and customer outcomes. You will collaborate closely with sales leaders, championing their input, and prioritizing Sales skill development / technical upskilling critical to achieving business outcomes that drive growth and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in leading Business Unit Aligned change management efforts to ensure successful adoption and sustained impact.

Key job responsibilities

1.\tGlobal Enablement Execution:

- Lead the implementation of a comprehensive global enablement strategy across various business units and geographies.

- Oversee cross-functional teams to execute enablement programs that enhance sales effectiveness, product knowledge, and customer engagement.

- Continuously monitor and refine enablement initiatives to ensure they remain relevant, data-driven, and aligned with evolving market dynamics

2.\tSales Leader Collaboration and Alignment:

- Establish strong partnerships with sales leaders across various business units and geographies.

- Facilitate open communication channels to gather insights, feedback, and requirements from sales leaders.

- Ensure that sales enablement initiatives are closely tailored to the specific needs and goals of each sales team, fostering buy-in and adoption.

3. Business Outcome Focused:

- Define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of enablement programs and their impact on business outcomes.

- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement, optimizing enablement strategies to drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product management, marketing, and customer success, to align enablement efforts with overall business objectives.

4.\tChange Management:

- Lead change management initiatives to facilitate the successful adoption of new enablement programs, processes, and technologies.

- Develop and implement communication strategies to clearly articulate the benefits and rationale behind enablement transformations.

- Foster a culture of continuous learning and adaptability, empowering teams to embrace change and drive innovation.

- Identify and mitigate potential risks and barriers to change, proactively addressing resistance and ensuring smooth transitions.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of experience in sales operations, sales leadership, global sales enablement or equivalent.

Demonstrated experience in leading and managing change initiatives, with a focus on change management principles and techniques.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, Sharepoint, Outlook).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven ability to foster a culture of continuous learning, adaptability, and innovation.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.

• Proven leadership experience in driving large-scale enablement transformation initiatives within complex, global organizations.

• Deep understanding of sales enablement best practices, methodologies, and technologies.

• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of delivering measurable business impact.

• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable enablement strategies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $143,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $237,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
