Role

The Golf Sales Manager is a fully competent individual who has experience in the sales process and function of selling hotels and is proficient in playing golf and has a strong understanding of golf operations . As a member of our Sales, Events and Golf team, responsibilities of this unique role include maximizing tournament rounds at our 27-hole Hill Country Golf Club . Additionally, the Golf Sales Manager will be responsible for selling banquet functions and guest rooms associated with our golf tournaments . Preferred candidate has a background in hotel sales and understanding of golf.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Selling golf tournaments, guest rooms and banquet events
  • Achievement of quarterly sales goals including tournament green fee revenue and banquet revenue
  • Managing accounts with existing repeat customers
  • Conducting site tours and soliciting and generating new business
  • Will be required to play golf with prospective clients during site tours
  • Presenting effective proposals for customers
  • Maintaining well organized documentation and reports, utilizing Hyatt systems and coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate
  • Work as a team member with the golf operations and events teams and will be in close contact with administrative and other support staff
