Insight Global is seeking a Sales Manager to join an Industrial technology company located in Danbury, CT. The role requires 40%-60% travel within a specified territory. The ideal candidate will be located in the following territory consisting of Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia. The sales manager will have a background in business development with an industrial/engineering background. They will have experience collaborating with other departments to prepare bids, gather technical specifications, provide financial accuracy, and marketing strategies based on trends. The candidate will be able to understand customer needs and determine effective solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

* Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing background

* Experience in sales, sales support, maintenance or operations

* Knowledge or understanding steel mills and steel industry

* The proven ability to develop and manage customer accounts

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Knowledge around automation or process control in either the Paper or Metals market.

* Experience with Load cells, Flatness Systems, and Dimensional Sensors.
