About the position:

Reports to: Director of Sales and Marketing

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales, Marketing & Events department. The ideal candidate has a friendly demeanor, the ability to learn new computer programs, can multitask, accept new challenges with skill, and complete projects in a timely manner. This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service, initiative, problem solving skills, and have front desk and or hotel sales office experience.

This role plays a key role to the success of the Hotel, and the key responsibilities are listed below, but not limited to:

• Answer all incoming calls and customer inquiries the sales team receives

• Ensure that all leads are entered into our Sales Lead system, Envision

• Turning all bookings definite in Envision

• Create all files and enter booking into turnover tracker

• Assist with coordinating and checking show rooms for site inspections

• Assist with assigning group leads from all lead channels to the appropriate sales/catering managers

• Assist the Lifestyle Director and Assistant Director of Marketing as needed

• Assist with the creation of Marketing and Social materials

• Ordering and managing all Sales collateral

• Assist with website updates as needed

• Assist with marketing initiatives

Qualifications

  • At least one-year administrative experience.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work on tasks with minimal to no supervision
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and the interdependence of each department
  • Ability to prioritize tasks/needs of internal and external customers
  • Proven business communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task; excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to demonstrate care and empathy to both internal and external guests
