Responsibilities:
The Sales Planning Specialist is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders in the company's system. This role involves verifying order information, resolving order discrepancies, and ensuring orders are processed in a timely manner to meet customer expectations as well as providing exceptional customer service to external and internal teams.
Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility
1. Ensure international/domestic customer orders, (EDI/Email), are processed accurately and in a timely manner to meet customer delivery requirements and to maintain highest possible customer scorecard rating for OTIF
2. Verify order information, including pricing, item quantities, out of stocks, item codes, case pack and shipping details
3. Resolve any order discrepancies or issues with customers or internal teams
4. Coordinate with the Fulfilment Center and Finance teams to ensure monthly gross target is met
5. Maintain/ensure accurate and up-to-date records of orders and customer information
6. Provide exceptional customer service to address customer inquiries and concerns
7. Communicate order status and updates to customers
8. Provide off hour support to Fulfilment Center as needed (end of month/quarter/year)
9. Handle return authorization issuance process for all customers
10. Coordinate certificate of insurance requests for all customers
11. Provide Trade Spend support. Working with the field, finance, and broker teams to process documents/deductions within the system.
12. SHE Responsibility (Ensure that you & your co-workers can leave work at the end of the day in the same good health in which you arrived at work at the dayâs start)
