The Salesforce Specialist will provide Salesforce application support to MED-Project on
a temporary basis. The Salesforce Specialist is expected to provide support for day-to day Salesforce administrative functions including performing basic updates,
add/deactivate u , monitor access levels, add basic custom fields, address user
issues as they arise, clean and upload data. The Salesforce Specialist will support
members of the MED-Project Salesforce team, including the Senior Salesforce
Administrator and Salesforce Developers, as they implement new innovations to solve
novel business challenges. The Salesforce Specialist may also provide support to the
Data Services Project Management (DSPM) team by monitoring and addressing daily
Salesforce requests and issues, as well as, assisting with project tasks assigned during
sprints.
This position requires excellent technical and communication skills as it interacts with all
levels of the organization. The Salesforce Specialist operates under the oversight and
directly reports to the Senior Director, Data Services and Project Management Center of
Excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

Create and Manage Changes to Salesforce

Create and maintain fields, objects, reports, dashboards, and other Salesforce
features.
Support existing reporting requirements and respond to ad-hoc reporting
requests from internal employees.
Document associated processes, procedures, and job aids in support of industry
best practices.
Perform related duties as assigned or requested in daily tickets.
Maintain System Security and Integrity through Credential Administration
Reassign Accounts in response to personnel changes.
Grant / remove and maintain user licenses.
Reset passwords and troubleshoot log-in issues.
Maintain security including sharing rules, permission sets, profile permissions,
etc.

Support implementation of new business process and systems

Work with the Data Services Project Management (DSPM) team, Salesforce
Developers, and the Senior Salesforce Administrator to assist with
implementation of new processes, integrations, and components.
Establish and maintain regular written and verbal communications with
department heads, end-u , and the Data Services team regarding Salesforce
activities and projects through various mechanisms including daily stand-ups,
one-on-ones, and technical applications (e.g. Teams, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.)
Critically evaluate and document information gathered during needs discovery
sessions.
Support small to medium system changes and implementations, including
design, development, testing, UAT, training, roll-out, and on-going maintenance
