Slalom San Diego is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to join our team at the Senior Consultant or Principal level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust Salesforce solutions that drive business value and meet organizational objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead and mentor other team members. The Salesforce Solution Architect will collaborate closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

What You'll Do
  • Solution Design & Architecture:
    • Develop comprehensive Salesforce solutions that align with business goals and processes.
    • Create detailed functional design documentation, ensuring that the solution meets business needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional solutions.
    • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and discuss solution options.
  • Implementation & Integration:
    • Oversee the implementation of Salesforce solutions, focusing on configuration and functional aspects.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful integration with other systems.
  • Functional Leadership:
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to business analysts and junior architects.
    • Stay updated with Salesforce capabilities and suggest improvements and innovations.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that solutions meet business requirements and are delivered with high quality.
    • Develop and execute test plans and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Project Management:
    • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
    • Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders and management.
  • Compliance & Best Practices:
    • Ensure solutions adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Promote the adoption of Salesforce best practices and methodologies.

What You'll Bring
  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce solution architecture and implementation.
  • Proven experience with multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.).
  • Strong background in CRM processes, business analysis, and project management.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce platform configuration, workflows, process builder, and reporting.
  • Experience with business process mapping and requirements gathering.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously, preferably within agile environments.
  • Proven ability to lead functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified Administrator.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $120,000 to $186,00 for Senior Consultant and $133,000 to $206,000 for Principal. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
