SAP PPS Analyst

Apex Systems is looking for a SAP Functional Analyst with 15+ experience in PPS Analysis. The position will be fully remote and can sit anywhere within the continental United States. The candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust - MBI.

Technical Duties:

• Utilize your strong functional knowledge of SAP in the Federal Financial modules including FI/CO, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting(AM), Funds Management(BCS/FM), Procurement for Public Sector (SRM/PPS), Budget Planning System (BPS) (Budget formulation and 3-year rolling forecast, BW/BOBJ (FI/CO, BCS/FM, MM, AM, IdM reports) SRM/PPS reporting, Tax/travel SAP functional, SAP HR/Payroll, Purchase Card (Pcard) etc.
• Production support: provide guidance to help desk, ticketing system support to users
• Conduct table extracts and write reports
• Will use (Securities Information Processor) SIP applications

Must have:

• Proven experience as a SAP functional lead consultant.
• Experience managing and leading functional and technical teams. Hands-on experience in the migration of SAP solution/s to S/4HANA, to include a Federal government experience.
• Functional in Procurement for Public Sector (PPS) is essential.
• SAP Functional SME experience with the analysis, design, configuration, test and deployment of SAP Federal Financial modules.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Project management skills for leading migration projects

Nice to have:

• SAP certification in relevant modules is a plus.

Daily responsibilities:

• Assesses and identifies highly complex and critical internal and external IT systems needs and requirements to meet business objectives and optimal operability.
• Provides highly advanced partnership and collaboration with internal and external chief technology and information officers throughout the entire life-cycle of projects to define, design, and implement business process based solutions.
• Employ your hands on experience in the design of SAP solutions, confirming configuration, leading planning and development, testing, training, and deployment preparation, working closely with cross functional team.
• Maintains current and advanced knowledge of progressive and advancing technology.
• Provides expert guidance and leadership to less-experienced technology personnel.
