Baer is looking for an SAP Product Costing and Intercompany Billing Lead for a 12+ month project located in Chicago, IL.

Title: SAP Product Costing and Intercompany Billing Lead

Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed

Description:

• Oversee the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Product Costing within the S/4HANA environment, ensuring alignment with business processes and objectives.
• Manage and streamline intercompany billing processes, ensuring compliance with organizational and statutory requirements.
• Leverage strong experience in Controlling (CO) and Financial Accounting (FI) to ensure accurate cost management, reporting, and financial integration.
• Provide expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) to support the integration of billing processes across the sales cycle.
• Work with the Material Management (MM) module to ensure that product costing and intercompany billing processes are aligned with inventory and procurement operations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring that all deliverables meet their requirements and expectations. Lead workshops, conduct presentations, and facilitate client meetings to gather requirements and provide status updates.
• Collaborate with various teams including finance, supply chain, sales, and IT to ensure seamless integration across modules.
• Oversee the testing phase, ensuring that all configurations and developments function correctly. Provide go-live and post-go-live support to address any issues that may arise.
• Maintain detailed documentation of processes, configurations, and customizations to support ongoing operations and future enhancements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA with a focus on Product Costing, Controlling (CO), Financial Accounting (FI), and Intercompany Billing.
• In-depth understanding of SAP Product Costing processes and best practices in intercompany billing within a global organization.
• Solid experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Material Management (MM) to support integration across the supply chain.
• SAP S/4HANA certification in Product Costing, Controlling, or Financial Accounting is highly desirable.
