Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP S4HANA ABAP Consultant who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Role: SAP S4HANA ABAP Consultant

Job Level: Manager

Location: Austin, TX.
Role Summary:

• Develop and optimize code: improve ABAP code for SAP S/4 HANA
• Design, build and implement Core Data Services (CDS) Views, AMDP's Odata services and various other artifacts
• Able to develop Object oriented and classical programs in ABAP, including Reports, Smartforms/SAP Scripts, Webdynpro and IDOC Processing.
• Able to modify and fix interfaces using ALE/IDOC, Flat File, RFC, BAPI etc.
• Experience in both SOAP based and Rest based services.
• Expertise in SAP HANA code remediation and code compliance techniques
• Clear understanding on SAP LUWs, Performance Tuning Tools and standard processes
• Experience building custom ABAP WebDynpro applications and integrating with Portal and custom FPM, and POWL applications
• Analyze and improve ABAP code for performance
• Coordinate with various customer partners as well as onsite offshore team.
• Able to identify application issues and providing solutions

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience
• 2+ years of SAP S/4 HANA experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Remediation experience preferred.
• S/4 HANA certification preferred.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
