Saw Operator/Material Handler

Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for a Saw Operator position with an Erie, PA based company. This is a 2nd shift position with a pay range of $19.25-$23.25/hour depending on experience. This is a long-term opportunity with a very solid company.

Saw Operator/Material Handler

Shift: 2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm Monday through Friday

Pay Range: $19.25-$23.25/hour

Job Duties

• Operate Horizontal Saw
• Operate Shear Cutting Machine
• Carry out preventative maintenance of cutting department equipment/machines
• Operate Overhead Crane
• Operate Fork Trucks
• Candidate Must have the ability to:
• Work Daily and on time
• Know all the functions and features of cutting department equipment/machines and cranes
• Load and unload machines
• Deburr, pack and ship parts
• Perform first piece inspection an in-process inspections
• Aptitude for Geometry, Algebra and Trigonometry
• Identify and use of appropriate measurement tools
• Communicate effectively with other operators and assistants
• Learn from and follow directions from supervisor
• Complete all required paperwork
• Assume safety policies are strictly adhered

Education equivalent to completion of the 12th grade or (1) one -year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
