Airswift is looking for a Scheduler to work with a major company in Monaca, Pennsylvania on a 6-month contract (with possible extension).

About you
Project Scheduler is mainly responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring project schedules to support management teams across project development phases. Additionally, they assist in engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning during the EPC contract execution phase. This person will conduct forensic evaluation and risk schedule analyses, submitting recommendations and resolutions to the Lead Project Controls and Project Controls Managers.
Main responsibilities:
  • Develop Integrated Project Schedules
  • Create schedules during the development phase using Primavera P6 Professional, participate in data collection, and analyze project information.
  • Manage and report CPM project schedules, including variances, critical activities, and longest activities. Facilitate schedule reviews and provide resolutions and timely inputs on review reports.
  • Perform "What-ifs" Scenario Analysis
  • Contractor's Schedule Review: Analyze data, develop schedule status reports, and communicate issues and potential delays to the Management team. Analyze, monitor, and report milestones and progress payments during project execution.
  • Evaluate and verify earned values and provide quantity audits.
  • Work with Contracts Manager: Collaborate on Change Orders, analyze contractor's schedule delay claims, and evaluate recovery and acceleration of schedule.
  • Collaborate with Risk Management: Provide analysis and evaluation on schedule impacts of risks through Monte Carlo simulations using Acumen Risk.
  • Lessons Learned and Data Management: Develop and maintain a "Lessons Learned" log, ensure backups, and organize imported and exported schedule files.
  • Presentation and Relationship Management: Work closely with management teams, prepare and present schedule analysis. Maintain positive relationships with customers, project members, and contractors.
  • Other Duties: Perform other assigned duties (no more than 5% of duties).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Engineering or other technical discipline/related experience.
  • 10+ years: Project Scheduling, Planning, and Analysis in the energy industry (Required)
  • 15+ years of Primavera experience (Required)
  • Software Proficiency: Extensive experience with Project Controls Systems, Primavera P6, risk analysis tools (Acumen Risk), and forensic schedule analysis tools (Acumen Fuse)
  • Strong background and knowledge of management and construction of large industrial projects in oil, gas, power.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and present solutions in a clear and concise manner
  • Risk Management: Strong knowledge of risk, forensic, and delay schedule analysis techniques
  • Earned Value Management: Extensive experience in the evaluation and analysis of Earned Value Management metrics
  • Project Management: Ability to organize, plan, control, coordinate, and effectively manage cross-functional activities
