SCHEDULING COORDINATOR

Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY: Provides secretarial, clerical and receptionist support for the DON and Nursing Department. Maintains employee records. Prepares and distributes staffing schedules. Performs payroll duties and monitors employee performance evaluations. Monitors keys. Maintains department manuals. Schedules outside consults. Provides clerical support to House Physicians. Maintains office, work and supply areas. Ability to work flexible hours.
Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years administrative experience, preferably in a hospital setting. Scheduling experience strongly preferred. Experience with office systems and equipment and computer skills required.
Knowledge: Good overall knowledge of general office systems and excellent organizational skills are essent ial. Word processing skills are required. Language and communication skills with hospital staff, physicians, community members, referral sources, and others is essential. Must be able to manage multiple tasks.
