School Nurse (SY 2024-2025)

Community Day Charter Public School (CDCPS) seeks passionate educators with outstanding academic backgrounds to work with our school teams, renowned for closing the achievement gap. CDCPS manages multiple campuses across Lawrence, MA, and serves 1,200 pre-kindergarten to 8th-grade students. \r\nCDCPS school nurses are passionate educators who are excited about the well-being of our students. Our school nurses deliver effective, high-quality attention to our students while building relationships with students, families, and staff.\r\n

\r\nResponsibilities (included but not limited to):\r\n

\r\n
• Review health records for all students;\r\n
• Ensure completeness and compliance of records;\r\n
• Arrange screening programs for hearing, vision, and posture (posture only for grades 5-8);\r\n
• Interpret health assessments as necessary; and\r\n
• All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.\r\n

\r\nQualifications:\r\n

\r\n
• Uphold a passionate belief in CDCPS' mission, values, and educational model.\r\n
• RN or LPN license is required\r\n
• Experience working with school-aged children; and\r\n
• Experience in health records administration for schools;\r\n
