Assist with the creation of concert and recital programs based on submissions from students and faculty using a Microsoft Word template. Will also be responsible for communicating with students and faculty on a regular basis regarding their programs and upcoming events. Assist the School of Music administrative staff with other tasks as assigned.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
1. Create and edit programs for recitals and concerts using a Microsoft Word template.
2. Send and respond to professor and student emails.
3. Communicate with students and professors daily, both written and oral.
4. Delivery of daily mail to professors.
5. Basic administrative tasks, and others as assigned.
6. Some event-based tasks as required by the School of Music calendar.
Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word.
2. Strong attention to detail.
3. Ability to multi-task and take initiative.
4. Ability to work independently and on a team.
5. Ability and willingness to maintain a professional attitude with peers and professors.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Ability to learn and use new software programs quickly.
2. Excellent level of responsibility, reliability, punctuality, and organization.
3. Rising or current graduate student preferred
