Torah Prep School Of St Louis, A Jewish Private School in University City, MO is seeking a full time licensed, professional, experienced, dedicated, caring and talented social worker or counselor who will:
  1. Create/ Provide programming to teach social/ emotional skills to students. We are looking for someone who is able to understand and connect well with our students and is able to effectively use the many curriculums and resources available to teach the skills needed in a meaningful and enjoyable way to increase the students' abilities in these areas .
  2. Support teachers in providing for the social/ emotional needs of the students and creating support plans for specific students who need them.
  3. Be the address for students (or parents of students) who are struggling in any of the social/ emotional areas and work to support them by meeting with them, speaking with parents and teachers and other students with them or on their behalf to help them.
  4. Be the liaison between all students who are getting outside therapy and the school/ teachers to ensure that the therapist is aware of any social/ emotional challenges that are presenting at school so the therapist can support the student in the best way possible and keep the administration and teachers informed of ways that the school can support what is being worked on with the student with the outside therapist.
