We are looking for School Van Drivers in South Pasadena. We have openings for both part-time (20-30/hrs per week) and full-time at 31 hours per week. Drivers work a split shift from approximately 5:15AM - 9:00AM and 1:45PM - 5:30PM. Additional hours between shifts are often available for field trips, IEP meetings and other transportation related activities. $17.00 - $19.20 per hour * Salary range is contingent upon relatable experience, credentialing/certification, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time). Our School Van Drivers are vital to helping us deliver services to our students and extended school community. As a Driver with TES, you will: drive and picks up students, clients, and parents maintain and update route sheets including left & rights (directions). monitor and maintain order among the students on the school van following school policies. complete daily van safety check. check and add fuel, oil, and water as needed. ensure van is maintained in a safe operating condition. submit reports on mechanical defects and other reports as assigned. attends driver safety meetings. use good judgment concerning laws, policies, and rules while operating their assigned vehicle. actively maintains safe driving practices and emergency van evacuation procedures.

You will need the following minimum qualifications to be considered: High School Diploma or GED Valid Class C license with experience DL 51 medical card will be required willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR training (we sponsor) 2 points or less on a Department of Motor Vehicles H6 printout (must provide if hired) ability to lift 50 pounds must clear a current background check through the FBI and DOJ a current TB Test (within the last 2 months)

Environment & Physical Qualifications: Assigned work environments vary from site to site and may require services to be provided in a distance learning / therapy model. The work environment is usually comprised of several adults and children in a classroom, clinic, or campus facility with supervisors traveling to multiple sites/clinics.
