About this Role:
The role of the School-based Behavioral Health Specialist within the Office of Strategic Partnerships (OSP) is to provide technical support for the development and implementation of multiple school-based services projects and initiatives with various workstreams, managing contracts and grants, drafting program guidance, and maintaining collaborative partnerships with stakeholders. This position will provide oversight of program activities and serve as a liaison with the appropriate internal and external stakeholders such as DHCS divisions, state agencies, local educational agencies, institutions of higher education, payers, providers, and community-based organizations.
The OSP plays a vital role in ensuring that department-wide large-scale initiatives, such as the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative, Medi-Cal school-based services, CalHOPE, and the CalAIM Justice-Involved Initiative align with the DHCS' purpose towards proving equitable access to quality health care leading to a healthy California for all.

Telework Information
