The SCM Buyer is responsible for the procurement of goods and services for a company.
Responsibilities
- Work with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Manage the inventory of goods and services.
- Support a platform and some low risk agreements
- Analytical and negotiation skills
- At least a 2 year associates degree
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Some experience in procurement preferred
- Oil and gas background
- Supply Chain/buyer experience
- Experience with SAP and Ariba
