Physician Services is now hiring a CMA Scribe for our Ortho office. We offer a positive work environment where personnel work as a team to provide high-quality care.

This position requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Under the general direction of the Physician, performs a variety of patient care activities and accommodative services to assigned patients of all ages. Supports the objectives of the Physician office and hospital. Refers significant information or concerns to the Physician.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Must be a current Certified Medical Assistant

• High school education / GED or equivalent *Years of relevant experience may be substituted for the required education.

• 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred, knowledge of anatomy, pharmacology and medical terminology required.

• BLS required one month from hire date
