Job Summary

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and PI (Program Increment) planning.
• Coach Team Members: Educate the team on Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP), and SAFe practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Remove Obstacles: Identify and eliminate impediments that hinder the teams progress.
• Support ARTs: Assist in coordinating and participating in Agile Release Train events, ensuring alignment and collaboration across teams.
• Manage Backlogs: Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
• Ensure Quality: Promote built-in quality practices and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Promote Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of learning and adaptation, facilitating team dynamics and continuous flow.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, with specific experience in SAFe.
• Strong understanding of SAFe, Scrum, Agile methodologies, and related frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Fluency in English

Salary and Other Compensation:

Salary range for this role is between $100000- $115000. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
