Scrum Master - Wealth Management Technology

Hybrid 3 days a week onsite

Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support multiple projects and initiatives under Contact and Service Center Fleet. As part of this role, the candidate is expected to actively have strong Scrum Master skills. The candidate will work closely with all the critical stakeholders to successfully steer towards successful project outcomes. The candidate will work on multiple technology projects/work initiatives supporting the Business. The candidate will work with all the core development teams, other support teams, and drive efficient planning and execution. Understanding business demands will help in informed decisions in all areas of our team. The position offers an interesting mix of business and technical aspects. It is important to stress that strong interpersonal skills and team spirit are required in addition to the ability to proficiently deliver verbal and written communications. This is a team that works extensively with other IT members in all MSWM locations. This job demands strong work ethic and requires extensive hands-on, active participation.

Responsibilities & Skills Required
* The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 7-15 years of Scrum Master and project management experience with successful delivery experience in the Financial Services domain.
* A change agent, with a passion for collaborative working, to support our teams and improve and deliver exceptional output.
* As Scrum master/project manager, own and lead the delivery with pro-active behavior.
* Experience working in Agile teams and an understanding of Agile practices.
* Proficiency facilitating Squad/Scrum meetings to ensure they are solutions focused.
* Experience helping Agile teams establish and adhere to norms and practices.
* Ability to collaborate with team members on solutions to address challenges and roadblocks.
* A continuous improvement mind-set and dedication to finding creative ways of working.
* Ability to influence behavior without having formal organizational hierarchy.
* A dedication to cross-function collaboration, communication and breaking down of silos.
* Work directly in a squad to drive performance using Agile values, practices, and processes.
* Working with the Product Owner, candidate will support the work of the squad by maintaining the backlog and facilitating Agile ceremonies like stand ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
* Candidate will monitor team performance through the Squads metrics dashboards and help identify continuous improvement opportunities to support the team to work smarter, and more effectively.
* Provide transparency to Fleet Delivery Lead with respect to risks, blockers, impediments at Scrum of Scrum calls and recommend/implement strategies for effective and efficient operations.
* Conduct squad assessments to ensure agile principles and best practices are being met and achieved.
* Partner with Product Owners to update Rally with Strategic Objectives, Initiatives and Capabilities based on business roadmap as well as Advice Fleet Sync documentation.
* Participate in all Advice Fleet ceremonies including Scrum of Scrum, Advice Fleet Sync, Advice Fleet Retro, and Advice Fleet IBR.
* As the squad coach, communicate effectively, proactively with recommendations for continuously improving the squads.
* Ensure squad agile trainings are taken and squad rosters maintained.
* Ensure Jira hygiene is maintained daily on Jira Board and Rally.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to resolve impediments to meet all deadlines.
* Experience in working with agile and deployment lifecycles and/or tracking and process management tools, e.g. JIRA, Rally, Jira Board, Release Change Management, Remedy Change Management, and others.
* Follow Change Management Release process and create Remedy Change Request.
* Monitor deployments during releases.
* Identify and analyze opportunities and make tactical/strategic recommendations.
* Deep skills in project management tools, including Microsoft Project, Access, Word, Excel, Visio, and SharePoint.
* Hands on project management approach that includes a proven track record of project execution.
* Plan and conduct relevant meetings with key stakeholders.
* Self-motivated with exceptional oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

Desired Skills
* Experience in working on Technology projects related to Financial Services domain.
* Knowledge of Wealth Management, software, and application development in the financial services domain
* Agile Expertise in Scrum/Kanban principles and processes
* Scrum Master and/or project management certification
