The Amazon Corporate Security (ACS) team is seeking for a Supply Chain Accountability Manager for its Prototype Security Compliance team to spearhead inventory management programs in support of Amazon's Kuiper program. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing inventory control procedures at various locations worldwide, supporting program Kuiper goals. Project Kuiper aims to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide broadband network connectivity to un-served and under-served communities globally. This role will have a global reach, responsible for inventory control at all Kuiper facilities and Third-Party locations including contract manufacturing and critical suppliers worldwide. In this position, the Supply Chain Accountability Manager will have regular engagement with Kuiper Security and key stakeholders to identify risks within the supply chain. To be successful in this position, the candidate must have a deep understanding of brand & intellectual property protection, product lifecycle stages, supply chain and an ability to identify, track and influence performance indicators. This position requires a strong level of ownership and the ability to partner with multiple internal and external stakeholders, operate independently and with little supervision. This position will require onsite attendance within Amazon Corporate Offices as well as direct onsite support at Amazon 3rd party locations.

This position will report to the Kuiper Prototype Security Manager.

Key job responsibilities

o\tAccountability for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Mass-Production (MP) inventory control

o\tDevelop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

o\tMonitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies between inventory records and physical inventory.

o\tConduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

o\tCollaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand for critical components.

o\tImplement best practices for inventory management.

o\tContinuously evaluate and improve inventory control processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy and reduce losses.

o\tTrack and document all instances of non-compliance at AMZ Kuiper Facilities and 3rd Party locations.

o\tWork cross functionally with peers in Legal, Hardware, Supply Chain Ops, Trade & Compliance, EHS, and Security to establish scalable Prototype Security standards

o\tDevelop, draft and publish policies and standards related inventory control procedures for the global prototype security program.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• \tProven experience and success involving inventory control, brand protection, intellectual property protection and audit management.

• \t5+ years of experience in Security

• \t5+ years leading & conducting audit programs

• \tAbility to work on-site and in an office location

• \tDomestic Travel (20-40% of time)

• \t International Travel (20% of time)

Export Control Requirement:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

o\tBachelor's degree in Crim. Justice, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

o\tProven experience in inventory management, with at least [5 years] of experience in a similar role.

o\tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.

o\tProficiency in inventory management software and tools, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory management systems.

o\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

o\tStrong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and developing teams.

o\tKnowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to inventory management is preferred.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $81,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $173,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
