Job Summary/Basic Function
The SCUA Processing Intern will preserve and increase access to historical documents of Weber State University by processing records and photograph collections, creating finding aids, scanning materials, performing preservation tasks, and enter the processed collection into an online searchable database (ArchivesSpace).
Work Schedule: Part-time, Monday-Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. flexible around class schedule.
Required Qualifications
-This position is 50/50 eligible. Applicants must be current, full time, Weber State University Students with at least a 2.0 GPA.
-Proficient in the use of office productivity software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
Preferred Qualifications
-Good written and oral communication skills.
-Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision.
Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
