Position Summary

The Los Angeles Chargers are looking for a seasonal photography assistant that will assist the photography department with shooting, editing, and archiving during the 2024 NFL season.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Photography support for community, corporate partnership, and other events as assigned
• Edit, caption, keyword, and organize all images and files
• Assist with photo shoots and gameday photography needs
• Assist with adding metadata to photos and help expanding Chargers photo archive
• Curate photo galleries for use on team website
• Handle image sourcing for internal & external photo requests

Qualifications and Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Candidates must be able to work 40-plus hours per week, including all Chargers games

Required Skills
• Fluency in Photo Mechanic, Adobe Lightroom/Camera Raw and Photoshelter
• Experience with and understanding of digital asset management workflows and metadata application
• Working knowledge of studio and sports photography
• Ability to prioritize and work in fast-paced environment
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills with capacity to handle high volumes of detailed work, multi-task and manage projects on strict deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to work effectively as a team member
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with multiple priorities
• Photo editing and archiving experience preferred
• Prior experience in professional or collegiate athletics preferred

Applicant must:
• Have authorization to work in the United States.
• Have a current driver's license

This position will pay $17.50 an hour.
