This is a paid Hyattinternshipprogram that provides an understanding of the hospitality industry through exposure to the Food and Beverage division of hotel operations. The Food & Beverage Intern will work in the food & beverage outlets of the hotel and gain knowledge and hands on experience in restaurant and market operations. The individual who fills this role can expect to learn and take on supervisory responsibilities as it applies. ANTICIPATED START DATE IN MAY AND MUST HAVE OPEN FLEXIBLE AVAILABILITY INCLUDING EVENINGS, HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS.

The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 /hr.

Qualifications:
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have physical stamina to lift, carry, push and pull moderate amounts of weight.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Capable of performing repetitious duties.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule and various shifts, including but not limited to, days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Previous food & beverage experience and upscale beverage knowledge preferred.
  • Hotel experience a plus.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and either in college, or have just graduated.
