This position will be working in the Finishing and Packaging areas and perform duties as needed. Equipment needs to be loaded and operated; once the process is complete, the parts need to be inspected and counted. Finally, you will work in the clean room and package the finished product. This position requires strong attention to detail to ensure the quality of Straumann product.

Job Responsibilities
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
  • Operate washing, trovalization, laser engraver, anodizing and packaging machines
  • Inspect parts as they are produced, including microscope inspection
  • Careful handling and counting of the parts and ensure finish quality is to requirements
  • Follow procedures and complete documentation as needed
Physical Attributes
  • Use of eyesight and visual acuity
  • Use of hand-eye coordination
  • Inspect and work under a microscope
  • May require moderate lifting
  • May be exposed to hazards associated with manufacturing equipment and tools
Minimum Qualifications
  • 1yr+ of experience producing and inspecting small precision parts and/or assemblies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous medical device experience
  • Ability to work with small high-quality parts and recognize detail
  • Aptitude for high volume repetitive work
  • Previous microscope and inspection experience
  • Ability to manipulate small objects and manual dexterity
