Insight Global is looking to add a AWS Systems Admin to a federal client's program team that is centered near Scott Airforce Base in O'Fallon, IL. This individual will be responsible for the deployment of platform services and enablement of DevOps processes within their environment.

Responsibilities include:

Maintains and improves existing build and deployment processes using CI/CD tools

Architects, builds, and maintains on premise and/or cloud infrastructure to support team and customer initiatives

Transforms Government cloud requirements into appropriate technological alternatives and provides expertise in hybrid virtualization and cloud environments

Establishes and improves system monitoring while maintaining established security protocols within development, test, and production systems.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of Development experience Java (Object Oriented Programming concepts)

Cloud / AWS implementation and/or deployment

Secret clearance

Agile

Within 4 hours of O'Fallon Illinois (this team works remotely apart from planning meetings held every 10 weeks requiring to be onsite in O'fallon Illinois)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Certification in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology
- Experience with Spring framework
- Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture / Web Services -- SOAP / REST, JUNIT -- Mockito, and MAVEN
- Experience with Markup Languages like XML and JSON
