Our client, a management consulting firm, is looking for a Deputy Project Manager to join their team in support of a government customer. This person will be responsible for managing a team of 11 people across different disciplines in order to reach the objectives of the government customer.

Primary responsibilities are below:

* Quickly establish, develop, and foster positive rapport with federal government clients and partners in a professional, collaborative, fast-paced, technical environment

* Apply project management techniques to support tasking, policy development, plans, schedules, and milestones

* Collaborate with government stakeholders to develop strategic plans and improve processes

* Oversee and manage a team of 11

Required Skills & Experience

* 10 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree OR

* 5 years of experience and a Master's degree

* Active Secret clearance OR DHS Suitability

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Prior DHS experience
