Secret REMOTE Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

Insight Global is looking for a Secret cleared Information Systems Security Officer to join the team sitting fully remote in support of a newly awarded Federal program. The ISSO will be responsible for the following:

Perform Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, including architecture review, system security plan assessment and/or authorship, security controls assessment, audit monitoring, and similar to achieve AuthorizationAuthority To Operate (ATO) for assigned Information Systems (ISs).
Develop and maintain Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation in accordance with DoD and USU guidance.
Develop and maintain system security plans, configuration management plans, incident response plans, and other Cybersecurity documents.
Conduct technical vulnerability assessments and track remediation activities in the Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
Provide support to plan, coordinate, and implement the organizations information security program.
Provide support for facilitating and helping agencies identify their current security infrastructure and define future programs, design, and implementation of security related to IT systems.
Gather and organize technical information about an organizations mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs.
Implement and enforce information system security policies, standards, and methodologies.
Contribute to the development of new ideas and methods related to cyber security.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of IT Security related experience, including a minimum of two (2) years of FISMA experience, may be substituted if a B.S. degree is not held
Minimum of five (5) years hands-on compliance experience
Secret clearance
IAM Level II certification required - (CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Additional technical certification desired - (CCNA, VCP, MCSE)
