leader will provide in-house consulting activities to advise/counsel personnel on a variety of complicated processes/procedures, supported by detailed calculations and guided by cost-effective decisions and recommendations.

Plans, conducts and directs engineering research and development projects of major significance that are very complex in nature and require expert application of advanced engineering knowledge from several different fields; resolves difficult root cause failure analysis to prevent future failures.

Designs and develops new and unique engineering methods and procedures, special equipment, innovative test procedures and special analysis of failure techniques, and communicates these advanced concepts in detailed technical reports that are used in the supervision and education of lower level reliability engineers.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

o 10+ Years of reliability engineering experience with systems (not IT infrastructure);

o identifying business operational risks, reviewing large data to identify root cause, conducting reliability analyses, fault tree analysis, life data analysis, and recommending solutions.

o Mission reliability, System reliability, Supply chains, weapon systems, etc. Nuclear/Space programs.

o Expert level Knowledge of Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), including system, sub-system, functional component, and device level.

o Experience in nuclear, space, or other venues where high system reliability and availability are critical

o MS or PhD in engineering, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent

o Security Clearance: Active TS, SCI eligible with ability to be cleared to perform work in SAP/SAR program
